Sustainability

Van Ruiten Food is actively striving to make both the product and production facilities more sustainable. Our pro-active sustainability policy contains the following steps;

• Energy use reduction
• Waste separation (for recycling)
• Reduction of ‘food miles’

Furthermore we participate in several other initiatives that enhance the sustainability of our business activities.

Some examples include:

• Increased production of certified sustainable products (Milieukeurmerk).
• Use of green energy.
• Reduction of packaging material.
